Helping Diverse Students Access the Professional Field

At Barrier Breakers®, Inc., we are dedicated to helping first-generation and other marginalized students get hands-on experience that will help build their professional skills and prepare them as competitive applicants on the job market.

Throughout our lifespan, Barrier Breakers® has helped over 7,000 students and has thousands more within our network. We want to help you hire these diverse, academically strong students to be a part of your team.

We can help you find qualified interns.

How It Works:

  1. Set up a meeting with us so we can learn more about your company, what you’re looking for in interns, and your current intern availability.

  2. We will search our database to find students who are qualified for your role and complete a pre-interview to ensure they are a good fit.

  3. We will give you their resumes and additional information, and you will get the final say.

  4. Repeat as more positions become available!

We are excited to welcome several interns each semester to the Barrier Breakers team to get hands-on experience! As a small team, we pride ourselves in creating fruitful internships where our interns get to work cross-departments and regularly interact with senior leadership.

At this time, our internships require students to receive course or program credit. Contact hiring@barrier-breakers.org with any questions.
